"You May Loose Your Hophead Over This One!"

(Athens, GA - November 2009) Hear ye, hear ye...hopheads around the southeast are rejoicing today at the news that Terrapin Beer Co. of Athens Georgia has announced the release of the Hopsecutioner IPA! Word is you can run but you can't hide from the amazing hop profile executed in the newest addition to Terrapin's year round portfolio of beers. What is the devious grin on the Hopsecutioners masked face all about? It's because he's already had a pint! If you haven't, you're going to want to change that!

The Hopsecutioner is a beautifully bitter west coast styled IPA with enough of a malty backbone to keep the body full and a rich creamy head that just goes on and on. Warrior, Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe hops combine to produce 78 BU's of bittering bliss, while dry hopping with Cascades pushes the hop experience over the top. The citrus and pine notes will awaken your palette and leaving you screaming for more!

Some have questioned the wisdom of allowing this killer IPA to roam free. Terrapin maintains that hopheads in the southeast are ready for an India Pale Ale that can satisfy their extreme hop needs. But warns....YOU MAY LOSE YOUR HOPHEAD OVER THIS ONE. Terrapin takes no responsibility for such losses. Drink at your own risk!

The Hopsecutioner joins the Rye Pale Ale, Golden Ale and Hop Karma Brown IPA in Terrapin's year round six pack line up. They also boast four seasonals in the Monster Beer Tour: Rye Squared, Big Hoppy Monster, W 'n B Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout and Gamma Ray Wheat Wine. The Side Projects series are one time limited production 22oz brewing improvisational riffs by Brian "Spike" Buckowski. Terrapin Beer Co. is located in Athens GA at 265 Newton Bridge Road. The brewery is open to the public Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for tours, tasting and live music. Tour nights are excellent opportunity to taste Terrapin's full line of award winning beers and see the brewing process first hand.
