Nuremberg Imperial Castle (Hostel)

2-day symposium for professional craft and micro brewers from European countries - in cooperation with Brau Beviale in Nuremberg. 15/16 September 2013, Nuremberg, Germany
Immediately preceding this year’s drinktec in Munich, the “2nd European MicroBrew Symposium – Market, Trends and Technology“ takes place on the 15th and 16th September 2013 in Nuremberg, Germany. The symposium mainly addresses craft and micro brewers from Europe. The language is English.
Basically emanating from the USA, a popular trend is evident in many European countries towards individual and craft-made beers. In line with this trend the 2nd European MicroBrew Symposium takes place on the 15th and 16th September 2013 in Nuremberg, Germany - directly preceding the drinktec in Munich. The symposium addresses owners, technical managers and brewers from European and German micro-breweries and pub breweries as well as their suppliers. In line with the symposium’s international character, the presentation language is English.
Besides an overview of the international market trends in this segment the symposium focuses primarily on technical / technological aspects of craft beer production. In addition to general concepts for small-scale brewery plants, the rich variety of products available by variations to the raw materials, process parameters and yeasts as well as the necessary quality control will be presented and discussed. In addition an excursion to the Hallertau, Germany‘s most famous and largest hop growing region with visits to hop farms and hop processing sites will complete this year’s programme. Subsequently an optional bus transfer to Munich to visit the drinktec will be offered. The symposium is a joint project of the Brau Beviale and VLB Berlin.
Note: adding yourself to the attending list does not count as RSVPing with the venue.
