10 Rare Drafts from Brasserie Trois Dames + Meet Founder & Brewmaster Raphaël Mettler!
Here at ChurchKey we have been championing the craft beers for Switzerland for some time, proudly pouring innovative ales from brewers like Bad Attitude and Brasserie Franches-Montagnes...and--of course--Brasserie Trois Dames!
A few months back, Raphaël Mettler--the spirited and engaging man behind Trois Dames--visited Washington, DC and ChurchKey, and it was decided on the spot that, during his next visit, we'd throw a huge Trois Dames party...and that is what's up next Wednesday night.
Be sure to come by to meet Raphaël and taste 10 of his wonderful brews on tap! He'll be shedding light on his history in beer, from a bourgeoning interest beginning back in 2002, to his beer internships in British Columbia, from the opening of the brewery in picturesque Sainte-Croix back in 2008, to his continued crafting of cutting-edge ales. We are particularly excited to be featuring a number of trois Dames beers for the first time in our region, including Sweet & Sour (an Oud Bruin collaboration with the aforementioned Bad Attitude) and La Tentation (a barrel-aged/ wild yeast-fermented Saison aged on local apples)!
There is no admission charge for this event and all Trois Dames drafts will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. pours.
The Trois Dames Draft List:
La Tentation - Oak Barrel-Aged Saison w/ Apples
Sweet & Sour - Oud Bruin Collaboration w/ Bad Attitude
Saison Framboise - Wild Farmhouse Ale w/ Raspberries
Sainte ni Touche - Oak Barrel-Aged Sour Scotch Ale
Grand Dame - Oud Bruin w/ Valais Apricots
L'Amoreuse No. 1: Blanche - Sour Ale w/ Chasselas Must
L'Amoureuse No. 2: Rouge - Sour Ale w/ Pinot Noir Must
Fraîcheur du Soir - Imperial Witbier
Fraîcheur du Soir au Basilic - Imperial Witbier w/ Basil
La Semeuse - Espresso Stout
