Where: The American Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford, Connecticut
The Shakesbeer Festival will be held at the American Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, CT.

The American Shakespeare Theatre has been a focal point of history for both the people of Stratford and members of stage and screen. Out of commission for 30 years, the Shakesbeer Festival is an event that will raise the necessary funds for its reopening.

Well known celebrities that began there are: Christopher Walken, Audrey Hepburn and Ed Asner. Many others went on to win tony awards and do great things for both stage and screen.

The Shakesbeer Festival will showcase all of Connecticut's craft breweries and their beers to help attendees try craft beers and learn what Connecticut craft beer is all about. In addition to the breweries, there will be live music, famous food trucks from New Haven and South Norwalk, too include live performers in Renaissance theme. The theatre is located at the mouth of the Housatonic River so the view will be amazing as well.

All profits on the festival will go to the American Shakespeare Theatre for their long overdue reopening. Not only will the Festival be for a good cause, but it will help create awareness for those who haven't ventured to craft beer yet and will be an extravaganza for those who already love craft beer.
Tickets can be purchased online or at Wines Unlimited 2336 Broadbridge Ave or at Captain's Keg 200 E Main Street both stores located in Stratford CT.
