To develop the recipe for the new Birra Etrusca Bronze, Dogfish Head's Sam Calagione traveled to Rome with molecular archaeologist Dr. Pat McGovern. They analyzed drinking vessels found in 2,800-year-old Etruscan tombs and recreated an ale the Etruscans might have enjoyed.

We will have the Etrusca Bronze on tap and more importantly that very same Dr. Pat will be here! The local genius is a pleasure to talk to and he might even bring in a few of his ancient beverage books. We’ll also have Hellhound, Immort Ale, Bitches Brew, Old School, and Chicory Stout on tap and we’ll have top men securing a few other tasty Dogfish Head treats. Mark your calendars now.
