Come Celebrate the Best of the “Wurst” in Mt. Angel
WurstFest 2013 Slated for February 15 & 16

Dust off your Lederhosen, starch your Dirndl apron and join the folks in Mt. Angel for two days of celebration in honor of the best of the “wurst” – bratwurst, currywurst and frikadellwurst and more that is - at the 5th annual WurstFest on February 15 and 16.

Coined the “best fest after the Oktoberfest,” WurstFest be held from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, February 15, and Saturday, February 16, in the Mt. Angel Festhalle (500 S. Wilco Highway) in Mt. Angel. The event features live German music including performances by local dance troupes, German and domestic beers on tap, German and regional wines, and of course a variety of delicious sausages. Select cheeses, artisan breads, specialty mustards, chocolates and roasted nuts will round out the food offerings. Vendors will also be selling German clothing and other craft items. A limited number of commemorative steins and glasses will be available for purchase.

All proceeds from WurstFest benefit Mt. Angel Chamber of Commerce community improvement projects and activities.
