The 18th annual Fairfax Brewfest will take place on Saturday March 16. Up to 20 craft breweries will offer samples of latest creations. The Brewfest is Marin County's first major beer event of the year so most brewers attend the event personally to present their new creations and swap stories and recipes with their cohorts.
The festival is on St. Patrick's Day weekend so there will definitely have an Irish vibe with celtic music and corned beef sandwiches.
The event takes place in a large indoor pavilion and if the weather cooperates (it usually does) patrons can enjoy early spring Marin County weather.
