A BEER LOVER'S PARADISE:
Portland International Beerfest (PIB) is a summertime specialty beer festival. Each year we search the world over to bring you more than 150 hard-to-find rare & exotic beers from breweries near & far. These include some of the most highly-rated beers in the world, and many are nearly impossible to get.

THE LOWDOWN:
Such beers often hail from places you might not expect, like Denmark, Japan, Norway, and Italy. You will also find the best from Belgium, Germany, and of course the United States. The point is to expect the unexpected and try something different...about 130 times in a single weekend if you're really good at it.

DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE GEEK:
PIB geeky? Yes. But light or dark, hoppy or malty, 5% or 15%...no matter what kind of beer you like, chances are we will have some of the very finest of your favorite style even if you're not a beer geek (though it is our secret mission to make you one).

THE GROUNDS:
PIB is held in a city park with big trees and green grass, located in the heart of the Pearl District North Park Blocks, downtown Portland. Entrance is at NW Davis & NW 8th Ave.

THE VIBE:
Bring your dog, and your walking shoes. At PIB you can wander anywhere in the entire event with beer in hand, and it's all pet-friendly. Grab an umbrella table, hang out under a shady tree, or bring a blanket and just lounge on the sun-filled grass and listen to great music play all weekend. Hungry? Check out the delicious BBQ pit, gourmet cheese vendor, and other great stuff to eat. We even offer free games such as darts, chess, checkers, and backgammon. Grab a babysitter though. It's 21 & over only.

- Beers cost 1 to 7 tickets, depending on how much it costs us.

- There are dozens of 1 ticket beers. Usually over 50.
