As the LI Beer & Malt Enthusiasts (LIBME) are entering their 5th year of promoting good beer appreciation, beer education, and home brewing, they are starting 2012 off at the esteemed Effin Gruvin of Bellmore, NY with a visit from Jim Barnes of Pretty Things Brewing Co. After a period of announcements and instructions pertaining to LIBME and other upcoming events on Long Island that we know of, Jim Barnes will be making his presentation.
All are welcome to join as there is no fee or charge for the event other than paying for one's beer at the bar. LIBME creates events like these every month in bars & restaurants hosting good beer on Long Island, NY. LIBME is a recognized non-profit organization with over 500 members and its works can be seen at local beer shows as the group supports the growth of good beer works on a local basis.
