BeerAdvocate is taking over the city for the summer of 2011 with a series of beer dinners at some of our favorite restaurants around Boston. Our favorite restaurants that love beer and wish to invite you to their table for an evening of our collective favorite foods and favorite beers.
Toro is a newer restaurant to us, but filled with old friends and fantastic food. A cozy, relaxed, small restaurant serving Spanish-Style small plates and tapas. An amazing Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonette creation for the South End of Boston.

Aside from the big names in food attached to this wonderful gem, it's all about old friends for us. Jen Fields, the GM, is one of my oldest colleagues in the food world of Boston. It was her idea to get us into Toro immediately to try the food and then to organize a beer dinner. We love it when restaurants take their own initiative to work with us and show complete willingness to highlight beer with their amazing food. We're always game. Not to mention, the food is absolutely amazing.
