Come celebrate one of the most talented and loved brewers from this great brewing city! Van Havig was the man in charge at our local Rock Bottom downtown for several years, turning out truly wonderful beers in a range of styles while inspiring and motivating his peers to make excellent beer. When other Portland and Oregon brewers found out he was leaving the company it prompted an array fun liquid homage in the form of:

Barley Brown's "Van Havoc"
Widmer Bros "Van Helles"
Ninkasi "Havig Your Way"
MacTarnahan's "Wreak Havig"
Oakshire "Van's Special Bitter (VSB)"
Lompoc "Oud Van Haviglee"

All of which will be on tap for a special night at the Grain and Gristle plus a couple beers brewed by the man himself before his departure. Be there!
