Well, it still maybe winter, but the planning is underway for the 5th Annual BA Gathering in the Philly area this spring. For No.5, I thought we try something a little different....a road trip. The plan is to visit a new brewpub called the Union Barrel Works (UBW) in Reamstown, PA and then mark the 20th anniversary of Stoudts and visit there as well before returning to Victory. There will be a bus leaving the Victory parking lot about 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 31, 2007.

The co-owner and brewer of UBW is Tom Rupp. Some of you may remember Tom as being the original brewer at Stoudts when it opened 20 years ago. He is the master brewer of lagers and pilsners. Although the brewpub is not open yet, I have on very good word it will be open for our event. So plan to be there to celebrate the opening of UBW and the 20th anniversary of Stoudts.

The date of this event once again will be 3/31/07. So, mark it on your calender.
