Whats good in NOLA?

Wife and I are going on a cruise and porting from New Orleans. We will be staying a few extra days when we get back from sea. What are some places I should check out? Looking for good local food, bottle shops, or any other cool things I should check out.

The Bluudog has a fantastic outdoor seating area and it's a craft beer bar. Also NOLA.brewing does free tours on Fridays.

Avenue Pub and Stein's are awesome. They are within walking distance from one another too.
