Have only completed about 6 trades or so and have received some awesome locals as extras, but I consider Surly Wet to be my greatest surprise. Maybe not a whale, but damn did I love that beer!

Late to the party here, but the best I ever received was a BCBVS. Unfortunately, it was sent to me before I truly appreciated how awesome of an extra that was and I'm not sure I properly thanked the kind BA who sent it. Nor do I even remember who sent it. I suck.
The whole time I was drinking it last year I was trying to remember who sent it so that I could send them something as a thank you. Best beer I've ever had.
