Just curious. I happen to be lucky enough to have a wife who loves ipas and stouts. Her favorite ipa is Sculpin- she loves that citrus and also Gandi bot when I can get my hands on it. We both love toppling Goliath ipas! Her favorite stouts are coffee infused- schlafly ranking up there...
My wife loves Bourbon County stouts , It's her favorite ..problem is they don't distribute it here so I have to trade for it or buy it online.
She's perfectly happy drinking Surly Furious as her regular beer of choice. She's not a fan of Belgians or Belgian-style brews so I get those to drink all by myself . I love IPAs myself and she actually liked Avery Maharaja more than I did...
Franziskaner Weiss and Weihenstaphaner Hefe are her favorites. But, unfortunately, she will still "enjoy" an occasional Bud Light.
My wife like wine, specifically Pinot Grigio, no beer. Works out perfect, as I have a DD for beer events and she doesn't deplete the beer fridge. I'll give her credit, she'll always have a taste of what I'm drinking, but the best endorsement is "it's not horrible".
My wife's an IPA freak. Founders Double Trouble is her favorite. When we're at the store together, she pretty much makes me buy anything with "hop" in the name.
Homebrewed Koelsch (thank goodness...otherwise I may never have the opportunity to brew...or brewery-hop in Koeln).
My husband likes Samual Smith Oatmeal Stout and Kalick if he stumbles across it. He brings me home beer from all over though, so I don't make fun of the Kalick.
Pales, IPA's, and Stouts are her favs, but she still enjoys everything and tries it alongside me, which is cool... But that also means I have to share. Oh well, at least she's not a mike's or coors gal

My wife is a bonifide hop head. I tried for years to get her into beer and now have created a monster that drinks 1/2 of my IPA's!
My husband's fave is IPA's. He really likes Shiva's. I'm the one always trying to buy something sour or smokey or exotic. We'll both drink just about anything though as long as it's decent and craft.
unfortunately for the wallet in the beer category sours and anything BA...luckily shes happy just drinking ciders for the most part
Her favorite right now is Victory at Sea. My GF loves coffee stouts. Blows my mind, since she can't drink an actual cup of coffee without loads of flavored creamer and sweetener... Can't say I'm disappointed though, she was a Bud Light drinker when we first met. Status: CONVERTED.
A sixer! That'd be nice. This is my wife's favorite beer. Fortunately, we can get it here near Philly. We were in Santa Rosa though this past summer and the flight of Russian River sours at the brew pub keeps coming up in her conversation. Personally I go for IPAs first, then stouts, but I also like sours; slightly prefering Consecration to Supplication.
