    Whatta day, brewing up a batch of what will be a vanilla, chocolate, bourbon porter and had a bad boil over (indicated by all the schmutz on the sides of the kettle:

    Then decided to wash the spilled wort with some water that was left soaking in one of my glass carboys...(you see where this is goin')...dropped the carboy and it shattered all over the floor under my kettle. :mad: Put a leather glove on to pick up the big pieces and vacuum the rest and still cut my finger; to be safe, 'will have to strain it on the way into the fermenter. The wort's now chillin' and I'm sipping my first beer of the day to calm my nerves! :confused:

    [IMG]My wife and I took a drive over to Steel Toe Brewing and picked up a couple of growlers. She really like the Provider Ale and while I really liked the Rainmaker Double Red I stayed in my comfort zone and got the Size 7 IPA. Having my 2nd glass with a nice T-Bone.
    For those interested, the Size 11 DIPA won't be out till March as they want to finish the taproom first. My first trip to Steel Toe. It won't be my last.
