Yes that does finish dry and is also sickly sweet for a Belgian IPA.

I feel like this beer would definitely benefit from some barrel aging. I'm sure the wood would compliment the phenolic notes quite well.

Twas good, they should have more kegs. You could try some, if you make it to Houston in the next week or two.

Ha, I wish. Work and research (I'm in school for my masters in analytical chemistry) consume most of my time aside from running and drinking. A trip to Texas would be nice, especially to get out of this cold weather, but it's just not in the cards any time soon, much less in the next couple weeks. :(

I have a bottle of this in my girlfriends fridge. I am eager to see how a blend like this tastes.

You like? Is it bitter? Boozy?

Went to my shop this afternoon and was going to buy some Sucks that I saw the other day. It was all gone. :(

    So I thought I'd try.

Had three 16 oz. glasses of Hopslam earlier and just opened a Green Flash Double Stout. Both beers are excellent. Surprised by the Double Stout, very nice!

It's ok. I still like Arrogant Bastard better. Not too bitter. It's more malty than bitter imo
