Moving on to my first one of these this year. As always lives up to the name. I think one 4 pack will get me through until it comes out again next year though.

Now just sipping on a glass of carmenère and working on my syllabus for this semester . . . and then it's early to bed, early to rise.

Nice glass—do I see Breckenridge's Small Batch 471 logo on the side? Really pretty patterning.

How did it get to be the middle of the month already?! Just got back in town from second work trip of the new eyar and have worked nearly every day since Jan 1. Taking a much needed "mental health day" tomorrow. So, good line up tonight...SN Celebration, NB Abbey Ale and Schlafly Irish Style Extra Stout. Should take the rough edges off.

Moved on to Imperial Three Blind Mice from Mother's (Springfield, MO) This is a decent beer but nothing ground breaking. I love brown ales but have yet to find an imperial version I really like.

An American IPA from Japan that tastes better than quite a few American IPAs.
Mad props to YoHo Brewing in Nagano, Japan for Aooni India Pale Ale.

Next on deck is some brown shugga

For how average this beer is fresh I continue to be amazed how well it ages. Not as good as the '09, but its still marshmallow toffee goodness.

The lineup so far. WnB is far superior to many coffee beers.

Not nearly as fresh as when I bought these in November, but it is still drinking better than any other double IPA available. It's gonna be a sad day when my fridge no longer has any Heady left.
