Moving on to a Westmalle Tripel - it's been a little while since I've opened up one of these and I am immediately reminded why this is one of my favorite tripels. Cheers.

I see you're in Germantown. I'm from Silver Spring. Sweet to be back in the playoffs. Funny thing is, I land in Dallas for Business Weds; don't think my presentations ice breaker, hey how about that Redskins game will go over well hahaha. :D

I just drank half of a Affligem Noel and... didn't think too highly off it honestly. Little boozy and the spices were off.

    Merlin is gone.
I'm having an Ithaca Cascazilla. It is a hoppy amber which I really like.
Ithaca is a good brewery and I need to drink more of their stuff.

Early on, someone gave me one of their Apricot Wheat beers.
I hated it. Prevented me from trying their stuff. However, between this beer and Flower Power im becoming a fan.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was me being spoiled by some of the Belgian style brews I've been having lately (had my first St. Bernardus Christmas and it shot to the top of favorite winter beers) or if it just wasn't that good in general. Sadly, I didn't even want to drink it tonight but opened my fridge and realized I never moved my Oak Chocolate Yeti in there, heh.

2012 Eclipse Elijah Craig 12. This stuff is amazing and is now officially my favorite barrel aged stout to date.
