Finished and I absolutely loved it, and I still have these to drink tonight.
Comparing stouts on Christmas Eve:
Weyerbacher, Sierra Nevada, and Left Hand Milk Stout - All dreamy in their own way.

Banana leave with yuka, pork and. Bunch of other shit=truly awesome!!
finishing with some HFB Abner
Canadian Meat pie on our menu, great photo
And a couple of Great Lakes Christmas Ales.
Happy Holidays BAs! Enjoying this 2011 bottle. Glad to see this @ 9.99 at Costco the last couple years. Picked one up this year for next year's holiday season. Cheers all!
Last night at my parents house I watched a Christmas Story with my mom as I sipped on 1 year old Mad Elf- Awesome!
Tonight after having some Great Lakes Christmas Ale at my Fiance's parents house we are winding down at home and splitting a bottle of Hoppin' Frog Barrel Aged Frosted Frog - the Barrel Aging is a nice touch!
How is it? I plan on cracking mine later tonight.
Went out for a lovely Christmas diner with Mrs. Maction -
Cracked this open when I got home -
Incredible. A really wonderful example of one of my favorite styles.
Share with me? Mine's all gone.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Welcome to the hood.
After the Christmas beers, I had a Sixpoint Diesel.. now a Blackout Stout.. cheers..
No pic, but had a New Belgium Snow Day since it snowed 3" unexpectedly here (Dallas). Pretty good timing if I may say so myself.
Big Eddy, so much bolder than little Ed.
I had a 2010 Founders Nemesis which was good but I should of sat on it longer. Still too hot.
Bell's This One Goes to 11. Blamo
man oh man i love this stuff
Started with this.
Now onto this imperial porter aged in whiskey.
Good evening fellow beer drinkers.
Fellas, the beer inside this little sweater of awesomeness is a Deschutes Jubelale. It's not the beer that makes a shit. It is the absolute wicked coolness of the gift my wife got me for Christmas. Now that is a wife who knows what her mans likes!
shared this with all the beer noobs at all the gatherings today..nobody cared for anything but i had a blast.
now that im home im enjoying some celebration decorated by my mother. (she did this to every beer she got me)
Finally back at home and settled after excellent Prime Rib dinner at my parents house, filled with some holiday punch and a couple Beefeater and Tonics. Now enjoying this! Merry Christmas and Cheers everyone.
MERRY CHRISTMAS BA! 7 hours of driving today and cracking my first beer now(future in-laws are non drinkers)...
I'm about as shot as Santa must be right about now
Another want of mine slayed by Steimie's killer LNBA SS box. Like a fig newton dropped into a rauchbier!
Merry xmas BA!
Christmas day beer....no complaints....no not one.
For 16% you dont really taste too much booze and the taste is pretty good. Not sure if its a scotch ale but it defintely tastes like one
Favorite beer Aventinus with friends, inc. a dry-hopped cider that my significant other enjoyed. And then the 2007 Vintage Ale = incredible proof of the virtues of cellaring even after moving from CA to TX. Next up the Partridge in a Pear Tree...in several years.
Nice n' blurry...as expected after this monster.
Fantome Pissenlit. It's like spring in a bottle.
Merry Christmas! Family converged in our home. Started with FBS moved on to Westvleteren XII (thanks Libbey) then Old Raspy XIV then Humulo Nimbus with a bottle of a Willamette Valley Luminous Hills Pinot Noir with dinner. Time for bed yet?
I'm hoping my bottle of Hoppin' Frog Barrel Aged Frosted Frog is good. I didn't care for the regular Frosted Frog much at all (that I've had in the past), and was hoping the barrel aging helped it some. I'll likely end up drinking it sometime this week and hope for the best!
Unfortunately I have to work in the morning, so finishing up the night with this.
