That's awesome, dude! That's the kind of thing that does make me feel good about giving Weyerbacher my money.
Oh, and my review for Expedition Stout: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/287/1444/?ba=fmccormi And the one for last night's Dos Costas - Orange: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/17981/76387/?ba=fmccormi
Drink all the beer you want, the other topic hits a nerve. It's only a movie to you but to some of us it's much more. I'm not looking for a fight but maybe you don't understand. cheers
Split a pitcher of Black Butte Porter with the wife over dinner. Now having a Hop Crisis. May have one more before the night is over.
Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold followed by a Westmalle Dubbel while reading the final 2 chapters of Clash of Kings by George RR Martin. Too lazy to post pics.
Having some re-reviewing tonight. Starting off: This >>> Gumballhead. Hands down. HOLY CRAP! This is definitely pushing 2 years now, but damn does this age well. Huge malty robust complexity. A badass imperial brown ale of sorts Cracking a Blithering Idiot next. Cheers
Perhaps a bottle of Caldera Vas Deferens is in order to eulogize it's passing? (Because we all know damn straight it ain't Smuttynose Homunculus! )
The simple mention of the word "Nam" hits a nerve? Keep in mind that the quote comes from a very popular fictional movie and does absolutley nothing to degrade or take away from what actual vietnam war verterans gave to their country. It's just a funny line where in the character could not practice pacifism in a time of war for obvious reasons. That's what makes it funny. I'm a history major, my father served, and I'm sorry if I offended you. I can't even quote lebowski on this site?
Even after the thousands of beers I've had over the past years, there is just something about prima. A damn near perfect beer IMO.
went to the bruery tonight with my gf and enjoyed a sour flight, a sour rugbrod, and an ichigo highway. came home and had a little of this (hottenroth): while we were there, i was generously gifted two bottles of this (that i had to open one of next): so thankful as i have been wanting to try a 3 floyds' brew forever. great night!!
