Which one is this? Recently had the Calvados edition... Simply amazing. Couldn't ask for anything more out of a stout.
Yes!!! I can't wait to drink my only bottle of Cantillon but I want some age on it so I think I will just keep it on top of my water heater for a while!! Or maybe I can throw it in the oven!
Yeah, it's kinda early but I'm off today, and I sure am enjoyin' this SN Celebration. Prosit, BA folks!
breakfast stout was a little mad at me for not picking it first. so i had to go with it second... if you look close you can see a couple in their 80s out on the lake paddle surfing.. its 40 and rainy.. cheers!
Just finished a Paulaner Oktoberfest which I got 2 twelve packs of today, says best before 6/2013 and they were clearing them out for ......... $4.99 a 12, thats right.
Right after I polish off this Celebration, I'll pop open a tallboy PBR in your honor. From my recliner. Now get back to work! *cracks whip*
it's my day off so I'm treating myself to some leftover meatball sub and a diesel while I listen to biggie ah, bachelor life.. cheers!
This stuff is a lot better than its blue counterpart! No weird yogurt smell and that color is an amazing shade of pink. I'm digging this, thanks Tom! Listening to the Jamie XX Boiler Room set, this is playing right now:
A re-brew of Green Flash 1st Anniversary Ale I picked up in a pressure filled growler last week at a brewery night. And listening to the Allman Bros. live at the Fillmore. Both are real tasty. Sometimes I feel like I been tied to the Whippin' Post.
^ That GF 1st Anny Ale sounds amazing. Wish I could get my hands on some! I am still at work, but I will be enjoying a nice few brews after work. Probably start off with an AleSmith IPA, heard good things...
That's true. 1 min in a microwave is akin to 1 yr of proper storage. Microwaves also eliminate containments if a bottle has any. Pretty much perfect. At my tasting group last night we all brought bottles of fresh Speedway and did a vertical. 1 min, 2 min etc.... 5 min was the winner.
With my palate desperetely seeking the affection of a hop bursting double IPA as of late, I have found peace with this. This beer completely deserves all the attention it is getting, imho! Keep these enjoy by's coming Stone and I will continue to enjoy by whatever date you set. Luckily I bought 2, a new top double IPA for me!
Brooklyn Black Chocolate - since I was able to land a half dozen Abyss this morning before they ran out on bottletrek, I'm gonna follow this up with a Lukcy Bastard. I almost wet my pants.
My first pliny, i wouldn't say it's over hyped, but it's not mind blowing either. Definitely top 5 IPA, IIPA, DIPA and a must try.
Enjoying my day off with this beer. It's from a local brewary here in NJ that just hit their 1 year anniversary. Cheers.
