Continuing my attack on my gift box. Assaulting the hoppy beers first. This is a very solid IPA, nothing earth shattering but easy drinking and tasty for sure.

Working on floating a keg of homebrewed French saison. I have a batch of the same beer that I brewed with Brett Claussenii that I am itching to put on tap.

Hit up bar #1 earlier and had a Firestone Walker's Anniversary 16, enjoyed but definitely preferred it from the bottle, where I got to let it warm up more and drank it a little bit slower. Then hit up bar #2 and tried an Odell Amuste. Dug that one more than I expected. Certainly not surprised that Odell was able to pull that off.

Had to chose between that and their Anniversary 16 at the bar tonight....chose the Anniversary since I am not a barleywine fan and really dug the Anniversary 16 when I tried it, but it was a tough decision. Still not sure I made the right decision.

Once again, no pictures, moved on to a Heavy Seas Loose Cannon on tap - that Double Bastard I just had was a total malty mess.
