I know you're all shocked by my bev choice for the evening. But in my defense, it goes super well w/ my blt (with maplewood smoked bacon and olive ciabatta, and of course mayo and L T)

I'm sorry, did you just say that you could brew a base Cantillon Gueuze?

Say hello to your small intestine for me as long as your head is up there.

I got a little drunk last night so I'm taking off. That, and my buddy is coming into town tomorrow so I need to physically prepare myself

Torcedores Series #3: Brengle's DIPA from Cigar City. Super aggressive and delicious. A repetitive punch of hops in the face.

I wandered into West Lakeview Liquors in Chicago last summer and they had about 3 of them sittin' on the shelves. It's not a big store but they have a lot of cool stuff that you wouldn't normally see at other places. Plus you can buy online and they'll ship to your house (they still have the 2012 Cantillon Zwanze Day tulips glasses for sale).

    cheers man!

Collesi Rossa at Zavino's in Philadelphia. This matched perfectly with our olive, brussel sprouts, and kale salad plates. The for main course a nice brick oven pizza.

Buy Epilogue if you find it. Not like anything else I've ever had, and very tasty.

My last Hopslam. I'm a pretty adept person in understanding strategic business decisions, but I don't get why this isn't a year-around brew.

Very subtle coffee, considering I'm used to the "I'm home, BITCH!" coffee upfront in a WnB.

Because it wouldn't taste like limited then. If you don't know what limited tastes like think of it as a hint of rare. I know you know whate rare tastes like :)

Opened my last 2010 bottle of Wet Willy. Been aging since. This beer has mellowed out and become far sweeter. Sure, it's ugly as he'll. The color is muddy (sediment kept in bottle) and the head never formed fully, but the aroma and taste is fantastic. Lots of dark fruit, caramel, some sherry, and a slowly evolving addition of vanilla, oak, and spice cake.

    Cheers!

Is it flat as some reported? Yes.

However, it's also magically delicious!!! If only all flat beer tasted this good!

Thanks again, Dale! Cheers to you!
