Just got home from a visit to Duclaw. Had the Sweet Baby Jesus chocolate peanut butter porter. Excellent!

Definitely a great IPA! Just started getting it up here in PA in cans. One of my top favorite IPA's. Cheers.

Birmingham, AL on business. (Someone has to pay the bills). What a great beer town... don't knock it. Some of the best IPAs I have tasted. This was a good beer... more of a strong ale than an IPA but would it would give Arrogant Bastard a run for it's money. Cheers ya'll!

A friend just dropped off a growler of Oatmeal Stout from Chama River Brewing in Albuquerque. So that's my drink for the evening.

Love this beer (and, well, every other Ayinger beer as well, duh...), kinda disappointed I haven't seen a single Ayinger offering around me lately. The heck.

Theoretically, I was supposed to come home early and cook a pork roast stuffed with spinach and artichoke hearts. Instead, I was held-up in the lab and ended-up getting takeout pizza.
Would be a letdown if pizza wasn't NY's food of the gods... alas it is. and all is well.
And did ya know that sucks goes FABULOUSLY well with a thin crisp slice?

I know right? I had to read the label again just to make sure it was a "barleywine"

Recycling a picture for tonight. I'm drinking a 24 of SNPA...
Except, unlike the one in this older picture, my beer tonight is about a year old, and pretty oxidized. Not ok, but I'm committed to the 24 oz since my beer budget has been really tight. Who doesn't want stale, tart apple pale? Cheers all!!

LOL! It looks like you are losing and gaining friends throughout the pictures, with the FFF's you're a Rock Star, the Aorta pissed somebody off and now you're leaving with the cat!

(How did the Aorta compare to the NN, BTW?)

had a long day from 5 am to 8;00 pm so wanted to hav ea couple beers to wind down...this has been the lineup and followsing my last one i will be hitting the sack:
    1. Left hand milk stout nitro: had 1 in the fridge but really could drink these in a session
    2. Hurricane Kitty IPA: got this one in a beer club membership and just drank it to try. not bad after the hops being long gone.
    3. Sierra Nevada Stout: great entry level stout. very sessionable
    4. Very Bad elf 2011: hadthis in my bomber section of my cooler and with a year on it, its not bad. not sure if i can finish the entire bottle but will do my best lol.

    cheers!
