Jack's Abby Private Rye. Damned delicious, but I think it would be better without the rye.
WI is crushing OSU after the first half. Love it!
Bottled 2/2/12. Perfect Sunday sipper.
Tired today. Long run lately. This helps:
So I opened up a Left Hand Nitro stout. I agree that it is mild and easy to drink.
It would be great for a tailgate or St Patricks day when you're going to spend a day drinking.
It is just a little too mild for me.
Nugget Nectar from mahak213.
My fav place for lunch.. Chucks...enjoying Abita Turbodog and Alpha King with some fried alligator..
As a lover of coffee-centric stouts, I was excited to finally try this one. Not too shabby. Nice ashy hop bitterness with it, too.
Sippin' on some FBS. Little hit or miss for me. This batch seems a little salty and watery. Weird.
Returning to an old reliable beauty:
P.S. anyone teach me again how to post actual photos from my iPhone of my daily craft beer fun?
There may be an easier way (someone else chime in if there is), but you can download the "imgur" app, where you can basically upload photos on your phone to the web and then just take the URL and use it here.
Rouge Chocolate Stout with Mexican Pot Roast..
first IPA to go in my new favorite glass
Sierra Nevada imperial red ale. The beer camp series is nice.
Cape May Brewing Honey Porter. Watch out for these guys in the future in the Northeast
Alternating between Lagunitas Sucks and Troegs Nugget Nectar. Right now it's sucks!
Seventh Sun/ Graffiti Orange Creamsicle Pale Wheat Ale
Moving on to Old Viscosity. Good stuff, but pretty low in flavor. Has that watery FBS just wrecked my palate despite some serious water in between?
Michigan Mud at Kuhnhenn's. Best Milk Stout I've ever had.
Tried this one more time, and probably my last attempt. I just can't get into it. The Schlafly was better
After two underwhelming brews I'm going to need a game changer
In the garage boiling a Black IIPA while drinking Blackout Stout
Not cold anymore
Green Flash Le Freak. Finishing the growler from last night. Solid beer for sure.
you know one thing I love about BA? You guys not only like great brews, but also awesome food. Man that sandwich looks bacon-rific!
The glass is like magic! My buddy got two of them and man do the IPA's create that carb as it goes down towards the stem!
Good stuff, right? It's kind of amazing to me that you don't hear more about it on this site. Awesome beer.
(Disclaimer: the review I've written for this beer is outdated—I've since discovered that I must've had an old bottle at that time, because I've had this much fresher and it was several, several times better. Re-review coming soon.)
More then likely maybe it has and maybe some mosselen-friet would wet your palate again. Of course cotton balss would work but that is weird no?
Aggressive Friday. Casual Saturday. Special Sunday:
New Sierra Nevada/Dogfish collaboration Rhizing Bines!
It was an excruciating struggle to down the bottle of gingerbread stout yesterday. I quit my binge halfway because of it. Figured out i hate gingerbread/pumpkin/heavily spiced/holiday beers. Never again.
Picking up my marathon lineup with a more refreshing entry before i jump into the rest of the stouts. Jester King Boxer's Revenge.
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
My first time having it. It's very tasty.
Just got this at Maxs!! Woohoo!
Just finished my little bike rack project, time for a reward or three.
Forgive me, pre-St. Patrick's Day impulse buy, some of my IRISH/Scottish roots wanted it.
Stone IPA while I wait for dinner.
Founders Breakfast Stout. Snow again in Boston, might as well stay in!
