My lucky day. Some righteous dude from Chicago gave this to me at a beer fest. Actually gave it to me for a West Coast guy to try. He isn't on BA but advocacy happens anytime, anyplace. Big shout out to him nonetheless. Great stuff.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but i actually was finally able to obtain my KBS ticket while driving here. I found Kuhnhenn to be almost zen-like after the morning i went through with BPT. Strolling through a fast-moving bottle line with the place half-empty while enjoying a pour of KBE, (which I think is fantastic) definitely revived my Saturday.

New brewery in Queens, New York, Singlecut Beersmiths. This is their DIPA called Billy Full Stack. Very good. Crazy expensive though, a 64 growler fill at brewery is $26 (without growler) ! Not to mention the growler itself without the beer is $20!

Had this last night! was really good. Now on to this...maybe my new favorite pale.

Hmm... well I checked my e-mail and low and behold, I had a "Confirmation Order" e-mail from BPT. So looks like it went through... Even though the site itself had said my cart expired... Weird.

Started with a Central Waters BBS, Followed with this Ovila Barrel aged Dubbel (wine barrels). Here's to hoping Sierra Nevada continues this brew. Exceptional to say the least.
