I had a bottle of the New Albion Ale. It's cool to be able to try a taste of (rebrewed) history.

This is a pretty good Doppelbock. A bit thin, but solid malt flavor balance.

Really great stuff. This is easily one of the highest carbed saisons I've ever had. Huge complexity of bright fruits and citrus with great balance of spiciness. Super crisp sipping.

    Finally!

    Also had:

    -Abrasive
    -Furious
    -Just Outstanding
    -Racer 5
    -a bunch of good homebrews

and...Budweiser Black Crown; believe it or not, this was a pretty decent beer (especially after getting pallet-shot by a couple of the best DIPAs on the planet).

I enjoyed my last one tonight and did get the sense of what it was like, but I did notice the bottle was not the fresh believe it or not. As I had said, very strange how we do not get hit for rain and snow storms in the regional area, but we get the release later then you would think and not as fresh. Could this be the distributors fault or Troeg sending it further first? Who can tell but it is all good though!

Disregard my last post. Night capping with some makers mark neat. In honor of them watering down the current batch to meet supply demands, I figured it was only right.

Good news is we got December bottles last week.
Bad news, haven't seen Lunch on the shelf in 2 months.

Had me a Sazerac today, which was awesome. Though being a Catholic, this is not just a New Orleans thing. I still have an hour to think of something for lent...

Phenomenal beer. Had it for the first time in March of 2011, actually, and I think that was from an "infected" batch. All I know is that it tasted chock full of awesome.
