My first gluten free beer (thank the beer gods I don't have Celiac disease!) and it's actually pretty good.
Just cleared the driveway since I took a sabbatical from that nonsense yesterday Now drinking this: good, yes..."the key to heaven"? Ehhh, not quite!
I'm about to crack open a can of 21st Amendment Sneak Attack Saison.. we'll see how it is.. not sure what's in store for later.. cheers..
Well that was not much of a game. Congrats Indi fans you look like you have the #1 team in the nation.
While this a good beer it just leaves me a little underwhelmed (if that's a word I know it's not cause I looked it up, any Sloan fans?).
I don't usually gravitate to porters but I've enjoyed several good ones over the past several days. Today's is HF Twilight of the Idols.
Just finished round 2 of the shoveling. We got a solid 2'+. The plows pilled up snow at the end of my driveway like you wouldn't believe. Shit's heavy as fuck too. Anyway, to the victor goes the spoils. I am sitting down with a snifter full of Sixpoint 3 Beans. Absolutely love this beer! It's the most balanced coffee and chocolate beer I have had. Neither is overpowering. Totally smooth.
Dying to know what you think of it. Cold, rainy and Walking Dead marathon here. A total stout day, even with Hopslam and Sucks in the fridge. Making my beer choices in a few . . .
Smuttynose Old Dog Brown Ale wich is available year round, and Sierra Nevada Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale (available in the Fall), are two pretty solid choices as well. Cheers!
Still recovering from an amazing tasting last Friday with 20+ brews, including BA Old Ruffian, Citra DIPA, Imperial Biscotti Break and BBA Hi-Fi Rye... Settling down with one of these on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
I just opened a Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout. Being my first one, I look forward to it accompanying my cigar (El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme).
