Genesee Bock for me tonight. It's totally decent, and a great value at $7.50 for a 12-pack.

I got a fool's luck discount on my Ten Fidy. If I could get it for 8.99 every time, I'd buy it all the time.

$3.99??? I would grab so many of those! Hands down my favorite holiday/Christmas beer. The closest I got to a deal like that was Delirium Noel about a month ago at $4.99.

Made a po boy, enjoyed a 2013 SN Bigfoot while cooking and now a Hopslam. I gotta say, the Bigfoot really impressed me this year. Really smooth drinking yet still has a nice hop profile. Dangerous for such a high ABV. Oh and Hopslam doesn't suck either.

Well, it's my Friday after a long stretch, so why not have a special one?

Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout. Really good stuff. Body is thinner than I expected (I think I had ST Choklat on the brain), but a fine and active carbonation works wonders with this one. Overall smell and taste gave me a flashback to childhood days of Hershey's syrup-laden chocolate milk. . . .

Just had my first Pliny the Elder now drinking this. I recently heard some fellow BA opinions on Pliny yesterday saying that it was over hyped and hopslam was superior. I have to disagree, Pliny is so clean and well balanced, arguably exactly the definition of what a double IPA should be in my humble opinion.

    Cheers

A 'feel good' beer after another loss in my nineball league. It's working already. Also, I love this new 'review all of the Belgian classics' project I've got going on. Might I mention, I've got Gulden Draak and Chimay Blue in the fridge.

Really nice stuff. Quite intense and robust in flavor; but the spices arent overdone. Well balanced.

Tastes exactly like I expected being its brewed with white grapes. Nice complexity and balance. A very nice Belgian Strong Pale ale.

Maybe some Ruthless rye and homebrews next. Cheers

It's -17 with the windchill now, and it's going to be -7(air temp) and -26 with the wind chill when I go into work tomorrow. I need something to warm me up and keep me warm. This will do:

This is pretty good. Can't taste the ABV but for some reason it doesn't taste as big as it should...

Working on Hill Farmstead Civil Disobedience #1 now. Floral, earthy, peppery, tropical fruit and a touch of sweetness. This one is really nice, right up there with CD5 of the CD series.
