Sierra Nevada/Russian River Brux for $6.99. Might've been a mistake, but this place has screwed me once or twice so I just went with it. Got one bottle, left the other three.

Old Viscosity $5.69 a bomber. For a barrel aged stout, that's downright a steal.

I'd be willing to bet that they're pricing it to move. It didn't sell well at all. Although i'd be willing to bet that in a year or so, it'll be a lot better than it was right from the get go.

    Me too!

I would have bought more, but they only had 2 packs left. I told my brother, this has to be a misprint because it's normally around $9.99+ here.

I found BCBS in a ten dollar mix-a-six at Wegman's in Buffalo. I don't know why it was available in a mix-a-six, but I didn't ask any questions. I bought the bottles, and I am now happily enjoying a $1.60 BCBS. Cheers.

Just bought Ommegang gift packs for $21. Three 750's ad a glass. A few as gifts a few to drink.

I bought yesterday a Firestone Walker XVI for $10.99. I did pass the info on to a BA local to the area I saw it. I did not realize it was a $20 beer till well after I was gone and saw it at another store for $21. Oh well. Cant go back now.

    Enjoy

My bargain of the year was back in May. Went to Mayflower's open house and they had about 20 cases of their Winter stout stacked in the tasting room with a sign that read 10.00 a case (closeout) I grabbed two cases , took one home and the other went to Quincy. She still has about 1/2 case left.

Funny thing how tastes go. I could pick this stuff up all day long (almost) in my area, but find it middle of the road. I have some in the fridge now, but prefer my Maximus, Green Flash, or Celebration for a current hop-fix. I prefer my Robert The Bruce for my FFF fix. Yet...others would fight grizzlies to get a sixer. Now if I could just find some more Narwhal !

Freedom to choose is a wonderful thing.

Best deal I ever got was $6.99 per bomber of Sierra Nevada Anniversary Jack & Ken's Ale back in December of 2010. I bought 6 bottles and have 3 left. I have a feeling that the store made a mistake because that particular store is normally overpriced.

Just grabbed the Old Rasputin XV for $7.99, dude had no idea what he had and was too busy so he just made up a price on the spot to get me out the door, but he told me I could only buy one, only complaint I have ever heard about this beer is that it's overpriced so it will be fun to enjoy without thinking about the $1.20/oz price tag.

OK, the consensus is that $34 is WAY too much for a single bottle. Glad I passed.

 Holy Shizzzz!!! That beer is usually around $16 to $20. So that wasn't even the typical clerk/monkey mistake of leaving the ten digit off, cuz I've never seen it for $12.99

This week I found 2011 La Folie at Whole Foods for $9.99.
In Chicago, that price is pretty ludicrous. I cleaned them out.

Stopped in for dinner at local BBQ joint that also does package sales on Christmas Eve. Checked out the package store after dinner and found some Abyss, so I picked up a couple more bottles. When I got to the register they wouldn't ring up and neither cashier knew how much they were selling for so they just gave em to me for $3.99 each. Wanted to buy out the rest of the case but didn't wanna push my luck.

Wasn't me, but a friend in Florida bragged about finding Cuvee van de Keizer blue for $3.50 each at a thrift grocery store that had em on clearance. Needless to say, she bought every single one, which was like 8 or 9. I received exactly 0 from that transaction.

Grabbed 3 Lost Abbey Judgment Days last week for $6.99 each. Not the greatest deal but usually they are $10+ around here.
