Since I know of a fellow Mancunian on the U.K. Ba forum
(as well as a inhabitant of North West) am posting about this.

My only involvement is that I've volunteered my services as a barman and essentially roadie
but I'm on good, friendly terms with the organiser who is a great bloke
who writes a fantastic beer blog that blends great ale with fantastic music.

There is a Lancashire versus Yorkshire theme on the beers and the breweries that have signed
really highlight the up & coming brewstars

    so far
    representing lancs
Allgates, Black Jack, Black Edge, Cheshire Brewhouse, Deeply Vale (A special brewed with Yours Truly!), First Chop, Hornbeam, IndyManBrewHouse, Offbeat, Outstanding, Privateer, Ringway & Runaway

then going east of the border
Atom Beers, Bridestones/Hebden Bridge Brewing, Brass Castle, (the mighty) Five Towns & Revolutions

so Yorkshire obviously needs a bit of bolstering before the big day.

Hope to serve you a beer there

So the profits are going towards a campaign for an Independent Salford?

Thanks aye I forgot to mention the charity aspect (I don't like to talk about all the work I do LMAO)

but the profits will be going to the community centre it's being held in
and I won't bore anybody with how Media city maybe lending to the creation a two tier Salford.

Friday lunch tickets will be available on the door though it is the one shift I won't be working

For Friday night & Saturday lunch and night they will have the best barman in Manchester*

I definitely would if I was in the vicinity. I've actually never been more north in England than Suffolk though.

    Now the Hurly Burlys done

    How I replied the organisers

I had tremendous fun helping out & think things went incredibly well

absolutely right about “friendly”, “warm”, “intimate”
& I think it what set it apart and made it unique & pretty (IMHO)
    Earth shatteringly good,
I’ve been to a couple of festivals recently
    & was left feeling cold.
With the Tokens & glass reuse we were able to provide amazing service,
    no one was left waiting
but also whenever I spotted someone who wanted a chat or some beer talk
I was able to do so with feeling like shirking.

Not to forget the beers, a real fantastic line up of the best nanos & micros
up & coming stars and all out beer magicians>

I was recently chatting (online admittedly) with Cheshire Brewhouse’s Shane
& he talked of ‘keeping up outstanding quality by keeping small’
& I think it might apply here too.

Once again congratulations & thanks to an amazing couple of days
and the best damn beer festival I’ve been to.

    Whippet Brewing, Leeds
    whippetbrewing.beer | @whippetbrewing

We are a Leeds-based, progressive, cask ale brewery founded in January 2015. Born out of a passion for drinking and writing about great beers we hope to get people drinking and talking about Britain’s national drink. We are a small team dedicated to quality and consistency.

Beer Supplied: Special #4 – Smoked Irish Red – 4.5% abv

A reddish copper coloured beer with an initial malt sweetness and smokey dry finish.

    Wapping Brewery, Liverpool
    www.balticfleetpubliverpool.com | @WappingBrewery

Wapping Brewery is the located in the cellars of the historic and famous Baltic Fleet pub, on Wapping, Liverpool. The brewery has been in operation since 2001 making acclaimed award winning beers, but rarely seen in Manchester. Until now.

Especially dry-hopped with the last of the Wapping Mosaic just for us! Expect dry and lightly spicy with a fruity hop.

    TicketyBrew, Stockport
    ticketybrew.co.uk | @ticketybrew

TicketyBrew was started by husband and wife, Duncan and Keri Barton. With a shared love of bottled beer, we started a brewery which was inspired by our visits to Belgium. While we appreciate and love exploring the world of hops, we also believe that good flavour doesn’t need to come from hops alone.

Beer Supplied: Grodziskie – Polish inspired smoked wheat beer – 3.3% abv

Based on a traditional polish wheat beer, it is a clear wheat beer made with smoked wheat, which we’ve smoked over a whisky barrel for extra flavour.

    &
    Thirst Class Ale, Stockport
    www.thirstclassale.co.uk | @ThirstClassAle

Welcome to Thirst Class Ale, a Stockport based micro-brewery creating exciting hand crafted beers. We make our beers with the finest ingredients available and maintain a painstaking dedication to quality ensuring all our beers are truly Thirst Class.

Beer Supplied: Dirty Old Town – Smoked Mild – 4.4% abv

Looks a good beer list. Might get down there on the Friday.

Are different beers on at different sessions, or is it just everything at once?
