For anyone who is interested, I received this email updating the movie status and sharing a nice video at the end. The video has a nice tribute to Michael Jackson towards the end, particularly by Greg Koch who gets a little choked up talking about him...

I think he got stranded on an island looking for Tom Hanks. Good news is he made a new friend.

    Greg's beard is epic.

    Anyway.

My wife and I were waiting to be seated for an early dinner at the Bethlehem Brew Works back in 2004. The dinner rush hadn't started so the bar area was empty except for the Fegley's and an older gentlemen wearing a sport coat, glasses, and a beard. He was sampling beers with the Fegleys and my wife asked me who he was. I had just begun my craft beer journey and so I had no clue who he was. I turned to my wife and said "I don't know who that guy is but he's important." She laughed at me and asked how I knew he was important." Well, aside from his sheer presence I could see that the Fegley's, who were the owner's of the Brew Works, were listening very intently to what he was saying about their beers. A few days later, I was attending a homebrew seminar being put on by the Fegley's and Keystone Homebrew. During the seminar Jeff Fegley began talking about Michael Jackson, "and not the one who wears one glove", and made reference to one of his books. Jeff's "glove" comment peaked my interest so immediately following the seminar I went to the closest Barnes and Noble to look for the book. I opened the front cover and low and behold the guy at the bar was pictured inside.

I wish I would have know more about Michael Jackson when I saw him sitting at the bar just a few feet from me that day back in 2004. I would have liked to shake his hand and thank him for contributing so much.

He probably didn't look like enough of a brewer when he was clean shaven. Now he looks like a brewer.

    Shout out to Moylans @ 7:16 & Vinnie & Natalie @11:33!

Seems like it'll be a good movie - but will they be covering the life of MJ or the "journey" of craft beer and how MJ had influence?

Some great clips there. Just loved Michael Jackson. Loved him. He was our beermessiah who died on a giant tallboy of Bud for our sins.

The ultimate tribute is when your friends, your mates, toast to you.
