On the contrary. ..just poured a bottle I'd been lazily aging...fantastic....and still has some wonderful hop characteristics.

At 10.8%....it ages like a hoppy Barleywine. ..its an entirely different beer from when I had it this past summer. Its got some great complexity now...

I'm not a pain in the ass snob about anything beer related but fresh IPA. Just loses the *BOOM* I like from the hops from the style. I will admit to aging 120 Minute though, so who knows!

Be sure to send a pic to Greg Koch. ;)

Good thinking....and it does remind me a bit of the 2 year old 120 I had last year.

I personally have abottle, but am in Houston. After the hop fade I experienced with my last one has me waiting for it to really go barleywine.
