"Matured in oak casks used to age brandy, this intense ale has layers of flavor and deep complexity. Caramel and dark fruit notes blend seamlessly with burned-sugar, date, black grape, and vanilla notes from the brandy barrels - creating a truly distinct and flavorful brew." $4.99/12.7oz. corked 10.1% ABV
Had the brandy barrel quad at a beer fest recently...amazing. Just wanted to see if there was any more knowledge out there on the distribution?
FT: 1 bottle & Wine Barrel Aged Ovila Dubbel: ISO Abner, Citra, Poorman's DIPA etc...offers welcome. ;-)
I also had this at a beerfest not too long ago and loved it, really hope this is something they continue to do in the future and maybe make a little more widely available.
Ya, maybe I'll just throw something up in ISO:FT forum for now...I was hoping to find more than one bottle.
looks like we are on a mission yet again buddy, im pretty sure we will have a much better chance this time than the last haha. will keep you posted if i come up with anything! picked up some plum quad after having some friday tho, i see it aging really well
I kinda want to start a craft beer distribution company on the peninsula. That would have to do well, no?
Man I fine told you...Mill Valley Market in Mill Valley! He's got both at a reasonable price. BA Bigfoot and Sucaba as well. Ask for Chuck and tell em Jake sent ya.
trust me ive got this in my bag next time i head up that way, but the gas and bridge makes those bottles $10 each :/ im definetly pit stopping next time i head to RR tho
You as rrryanc can go in on the gas and bridge...make a trip of it. Just be sure to hit me up and bring me that '10 Bigfoot!
Not to mention the 3 hour time cost. I do appreciate the tip, but the peninsula isn't exactly close to the north bay, unfortunately. And it seems to be largely a craft beer wasteland - at least buying bottles. If you're not buddy-buddy with the guy at Willow or somehow figure out the K&L releases, then you're largely SOL.
