Holiday Market definitely has lots of bottles.
Holiday Market in Royal Oak.
We'll have 8 releases from Right Brain in Ann Arbor, Michigan during the first week of February.
Look here for more info and to pre-order...........
ISO: Naughty Girl Scout Stout FT: Revolution Releases
Still seeing this (mind you only a couple bottles) on a shelf in Royal Oak (down the street from Holiday) in case anyone is still looking.
This will be random, but I saw CEO Stout on tap at Bar Louie in Novi tonight. I believe they had Northern Hawk Owl as well. I opted for Greenbush Distorter. Very pleasant surprises.
Is CEO Stout still around in shops in Oakland/Livingston Co? I haven't seen any.
See two posts up from yours.
Doh, how did I miss that?
Just was in Holiday Market Royal Oak looking for it today, they are now sold out on CEO.
In case any Metro Detroiters are interested, Right Brain will be at 8 Degrees of Plato in Ferndale for a tasting on Feb 8. Usually their tastings are from 6-8 i think, but i would confirm that though..
Right Brain Tasting in Ann Arbor
with Right Brain Owner Russel Springsteen.
More info and online ticket sales here. Tickets are only $15
They are distributing this in decent quantity in the Grand Rapids area now. Saw
Naughty Girl Scout
Northern Hawk Owl Amber Ale
at several bottle shops. While I grabbed some of each, I have only drank the girl scout so far and enjoyed it. A refreshing twist on a stout and while stone's mint chocolate chip is better it's still decent. Looking forward to trying the others.
Are they bottling Mangalitsa Pig Porter? If so, WANT.
Not really big news as there are free beer tastings in the Metro Detroit area with Russ.
It's available at the brewery right now... $13.
Dangit. I hope they send it out to distro like they have with CEO, Naughty Girl, and the two others my area got. Don't want to have to make a 3 hour drive up to TC just for this...
We will have the Pig Porter starting tomorrow night. Send an email to email@example.com and I'll reserve you as much as you would like. We will also have Northern Hawk Owl, CEO Stout and Naughty Girl Stout, just shoot me an email and we'll hook you up with the beer in Ann Arbor. Cheers! Andrew
Hey Ann Arbor, The Right Brain Brews are here!
CEO Stout, Naughty Girl Stout, Mangalitsa Pig Porter and Northern Hawk Owl Amber.
Come and get it before they get snapped up by other beer geeks!
Any more news on this Friday's "Imperial" 4-pack?
I'm a bit peeved that bottles being sold at the brewery are more expensive than bottles being sold at shops in the southern part of state - Looping Owl and Pig Porter could be found for $9 or so at bottle shops when they were $13 at the brewery.
You don't want to under sell the retailers that work so hard to sell your product.
That's how it goes for nearly all breweries. As Marcat said, it has to do with keeping the retailers happy.
I wonder if the same practice occurs among the wine industry.
Who am I to complain though, I'll just stop buying beers at the brewery if I have to pay a 33% premium to get it at the source.
Just as a local example, Chateau Grand Traverse sells their Late Harvest Riesling for 14, and you can get it in stores for 10.99.
Their "Imperial Series" was released today. $12 singles, $40 for the 4-pack.
Too rich for my blood.
All the same beer or 4 different beers
Plenty of em at Holiday in Royal oak.
4 different beers. I don't remember all of their names though. There's a wheat wine, a stout, a brown, and an IPA. There's a post towards the bottom of page 1 with the names.
What's all in the imperial series? Also, does anyone wanna do a local for local trade for some Naughty Girl Stout?
Fucking A! Good call on the weather
where are you located? I'll be traveling from TC to Indy in the next couple weeks and could bring you some if you're on the way.
Live in Chicago so I probably wouldn't be on your way =\
I'll drive through Gary. If you want to head over that way, I don't mind being a mule.
That would be awesome, send me a message and we can talk. Lets try finding the least scary part of Gary to meet at.
Good luck with that.
From their Facebook page:
The Imperial Series is officially available in the bar! Fat Lad, The Second Coming, Debuachery Wheat Wine, and Igor Takes A Digger.
$12 Single. $40 Hand Stamped Collectors Edition 4-Pack.
Somewhere easy off and on the expressway works for me. Message incoming...
Anyone get a bottle of Looping Owl yet?
I bought 2 at the brewery. I'll probably open them once I get down to Indy.
BTW, Siciliano's is holding a RBB tasting on the 21st at 4:00.
Love the avatar! Bad Boys 4 Life...
