I am setting at my client office and this idea is pop up in my mind, having live broadcast form home watching my yesterday's fermentation. Is that normal ?
Yeah, I got over the need to watch. I check occasionally to make sure fermentation has started, but then I forget about it for the remainder. I actually switched back to buckets (easier to clean/carry), since I don't watch anyway. But if the cost of surveillance doesn't bother you, I say why not? I would just opt to use that money on other brewery equipment.
What if something goes wrong? Then you are going to want to rush home and fix it. I would not want to know, it would drive me crazy.
13 month times 2-3 batches a month, here's my 3th batch, Most of my beer is over my belt, in my beer belly. Anyhoo,I will get exited over every culture in my beer, pizza, bread.
After very late lunch i figure out how to do "Remote fermentation surveillance" simply and easily. leave laptop with open Skype and camera on , basically do Skype chat with my carboy, and that's ridiculous.
OK, you first asked: Now, I would say...no, it isn't. You sir are probably the first to ever skype with your carboy.
