Red Hook Big Ballard Imperial IPA

I had this stuff when I went out to the brewery in Seattle and I found it to be incredible.

Is it not as good in the bottle? Or just a general consensus that it's so-so?
I noticed the reviews aren't so flattering.

This is the only Red Hook beer that I like. I've never had it out of the bottle, only on tap.

I thought it was ok, not that expensive either, so you wouldn't be wasting too much money if you ended up not digging the bottle. On tap is definitely better though.

Thanks guys! I'll have to try and get some as extras in a trade. For some reason Red Hook only distributes their less tasty brews out here in MN.
