I received a growler that leaked a fair bit..... no big deal, it happens, but that's not the point. The point is.... I re-used the bubble-wrap (a LOT of it) from the box to send out a box to a different person, and even warned her that it had beer/sticky/smelly stuff going on, but the bubble-wrap was self-adhesive at that point, so it was a win-win!

All made it safely by the way ;)

OP, I can totally relate to what you went through. I bust up cans (and bottles) all the time, but I think it's mainly because I hired this guy:

    to open my packages.

You wouldn't believe how many times he's saved my life from overly carbonationed corked beers.

I just use painter's tape. Sticky enough to hold things together but easily removed from bubble wrap.

Part of me wants to trade with OP just so I can fill the whole box with cans and tape the shit out of em. Like packing tape, duct tape, etc. Go all out. Maybe even use a little bubble wrap for good measure.

Then take bets on how many cans get slashed.

    Then send replacements + extras.

OP, if you're reading this, send your awesome trade partner (you got that correct) a thank you box that compels him to post here. Then kiss and all will be super duper awesome again!

And super glue the bubble wrap to the bottles... That'll teach him.

Sometimes sarcasm gets lost in its own ironic logic, and continues down a path that crosses the line into gibberish. I suggest that you crossed that line fairly early early in your post.

I have a question: How did you not know that it was a can? every time I have gotten a box with bottles and cans I noticed as soon as I picked it up Anyways, good to hear about a great new trader. I do, however, think that it was your issue not his, and in realizing your error, I would send him another box(if it were me).

I learned this lesson about knives and tape and bubble wrap a long time ago. I used to blindly stab every box and package I got. Until my mom got me a puppy. That was a disappointing Christmas.
