Had some of this this morning at huna line and loved it. Does it trade very high? I didn't see them on seekabrew and was curious what states get it and if its a beer I can easily trade for.

Should probably trade like a tasty shelf beer. I've found it in good NYC bottle shops most times I've thought to look.

When it's available, it's dirt cheap. It often completely disappears for the longest time though, it seems. Probably the first "ghost shelf beer" I've heard about :p

Awesome beer, and I'd be willing to trade fairly heavily to try the bourbon version.

    More than affordable when available.
I don't think Canadian beers are listed on seekabrew.

They import through Shelton Bros. so it should show up in states where they have distribution. I second the fact that it seems to disappear for long stretches of time. It just arrived on the shelves at my local shop and I quickly bought a bottle without a second thought.

It's been on the shelf and available at multiple shops in the Cincinnati area for as long as I've been interested craft beer.

Pretty easy to come across in Chicago, not cheap though. Around $5 a bottle I think...

Seen a good amount in Socal lately. But for $6 a 12oz, I'd much rather trade for FBS or wait until Founders distributes here

Shelf Chicago, which is saying a lot.

Edit: BTW this beer is awesome.

I can get regular AND BA version (2010 & 2011). Hit me with a BM if you want to discuss!

I KNEW I'd see a post like this or an iso after your reaction to it haha. It exceeded my expectations, which were pretty high to begin with. Apparently really easy to get in some places too. Good luck man.

I don't think i've seen it in florida but I know ive seen duel de ciel. Call your local bottle shop (or knightly spirits ) and see if they can place an order for some). As others have said, relatively easy to find but it randomly disappears for months at a time.

Forget what Alan at Knightly Spirits told me but I asked a few months back and it's apparently been a long time since they've had any Peche Mortel. I know they have 2-3 other Dieu du ciel beers.

Yes, it's expensive... but it's WAYYYYYY better than FBS. Not even close.

Completely disagree. PM is much more boozy. Pass me the FBS any day.

To the OP: easy to find around here. $4$ trade or local for local.

To each their own I guess.... that's why we trade, right?

Pfah, speak for yourself! I only trade if I can PROFIT, baby!!

(Imagine a more ideal world where an "I am Evil Homer! I am Evil Homer!" GIF could exist right here without fear of random and pointless admonition.)

Yup, here in montreal it's pretty easy to find, about 2.50 for a 12oz bottle. The bourbon is still tough to find though

Yup. I never ment anything by that post. Just sayin'

Shelf beer in Chicago? So, It must trade for 10 times what it is worth- right?

It's not expensive. $5.49 for an 11.2 oz bottle (think that's the size)

If it were sitting on a shelf for $11 for a bomber, nobody would think twice. $14 750's of Speedway Stout isn't outrageous, how can this be?
