This will be my first time to the Pacific Northwest. I'm planning on Bend and Portland. While there, what are some brewpubs that I should make a priority? Thanks in advance.

Silver Moon in bend is worth a pint as well. Don't miss Boneyard.

Bend... Make an appointment and take the 10 minute drive out to visit The Ale Apothecary. Very cool operation.

My fav places in portland are: Cascade Barrel House, Hair of the Dog, Upright, Commons Brewing, Apex Bar, Belmont Station, Bailey's taproom, and many other greats. It mostly depends on what is your favorite kind of beer and what a certain bar/brewery has on tap most currently. Portland seems to have an extremely fast tap change rate so try to find out whats on most recent if looking for specific beer. Every portland brewery is good in it own way.

If pressed for time my short list would include:
    Bend: Ale Trail - http://www.visitbend.com/Bend_Oregon_Map/Maps/Bend-Ale-Trail-Map/
Portland: Brewpubs - Hair of the Dog, Upright
    Bars: APEX, Baileys
Store w or wo/taps: Beermongers, Belmont Station, John's Market, Market of Choice
Too many more - others mentioning already.
Enjoy PDX & Bend. I sure do.
    Cheers.
