Robert the Bruce is solid but honestly nothing special. Everyone at table agreed more or less

BA Robert the Bruce is pretty interesting. Would never have picked out the base beer from the BA version. A little over-carbonated, but the oaky/vanilla notes from the barrel are really nice.

You're right, would never guess this was Robert. It's very sweet. Actually it tastes exactly like Barrel Aged Moloko that I just had for he first time a few weeks ago.

Like I said. Good but not amazing or must have

I loved the Bruce and yes, would have never pegged it as the base beer

Agreed, and exactly the same thing I said about BA Moloko. I swear they are identical (BA Robert and BA Moloko)

They just took it off tap. I won't be here at 4 but they have 1 pitcher of it remaining. Don't think anyone has ordered it since I was here; I'm sitting right at the taps. Good luck dude, honestly it disappointed me. I am loving 5 though

5 was solid but nothing amazing. By any means. I felt that and the hells black were overpriced

Unfortunately I only had time for a few beers. Five, BA Robert and Beer Geek. Five was my favorite, though not amazing, still good. I've had Hells Black and would have passed just to try new beers, but it was off tap when I arrived anyway. What did you enjoy most?

Robert the Bruce (reviewed on notes): 92
Hells black (reviewed on notes): 90
Surly (just a taste): Maybe 86/87 if I had to peg it. 3.75 quick rate

Wouldn't pay $8 for a 8 oz pour of any again though

Likelihood that it will still be on tap in an hour?

Waitress said there was a line in the bar at 630 but they left. We got here at 8 and I've seen 4 other people with pours. Not packed. She said it was a 5 gallon keg. Pretty likely it's here in an hour.

I saw people checking into Baller Stout on untappd. I don't believe that was on the menu, but I could have missed it.

I just meant what they released online beforehand. Didn't get to make it to the event unfortunately.

I was there at 1050 right before they technically opened...didn't see Baller advertised anywhere I and asked about off menu specialties beers but was told it was all on the menu. Hmm

Someone from FFF could have brought some along without the Northdown folks knowing beforehand.

When I arrived at 2ish, the beer menu did have a few bottles listed, including the Baller Stout, under the 10pm beers. They specifically said bottle pours above them

Wish I took a picture, there were 2 more beers on that list when I got there. One was Baller, forget the other.

Yes they definitely had Baller and one or two other bottle pour options written on the bottom the the big board near the entrance. Can't remember what the others were... I want to say BooGoop and maybe one other...
