Quick question for you fine Wisconsin folks. Is Serendipity still around on shelves at this point? I know it was a one time thing but have no idea how much is / was around. Also what does / did it cost? Thanks.
Havent been up there for a while so not sure if it's available but i can tell you that I'm pretty sure I paid $9.99 for it.
Go to the brewery. Thats where the mother load is at. You can also find it just about anywhere in wisconsin that sells new glarus. $10 a bottle.
It's pretty much available at almost any liquor store around that I have walked into in southern WI. $9.99
I think it's supposed to be around all year. Their schedule says as much: http://www.newglarusbrewing.com/index.cfm/beers/beerschedule
when i went up in december, mars cheese castle still had some. around $13/4, though. ouch. they even still had the saison though i'm not surprised at that price.
If anyone goes on a New Glarus run let me know, I just tried it a few weekends ago and really enjoyed it.
Enigma at 13/4 = .27 an ounce Serendipity at 9.99 per 750 = .40 per ounce I'd pay 13 a four pack for Enigma all day loooooong!
true, but when the woodmans 3 miles away charged $10 for the same four pack (~$9.20ish after bulk discount) i'd call that an ouch. then again us chicagoans wouldn't even blink at a $12/4 (pretax) which hits closer to 14 after tax.
I was in Minocqua the first couple days of January and Cellar 70 didn't have any Enigma. Only Apple Ale.
