This has been discussed so often on these boards but I just wanted to ask. How do you know they aren't coming from a distance and don't know the store well? How do you know they aren't new to the area and aren't familiar with what your store in particular carries? I get that beer is your department and all but why do you get to decide who has the right to know what you're carrying before they come in?

Spirits Red Bank has 1 4pk left with a 4 pack limit per customer, they sold out of 5 cases they got in yesterday. Spirits Middletown has some on the seasonal rack, not sure how much they had in stock but there was no problem buying 2 four packs at a time (I left 2 others and plenty of singles on the shelf for good beer karma;)).

Red Bank prices are so crazy. The same store that charged $11.99 for stone ruination tenth charges $20.99 for bourbon county.. Go figure.

I was hoping to stock up on jacobins this weekend, but I came up empty-handed.

20.99 is the going rate for BCBS in the area my dude..... I actually paid $24.99 earlier this week for it at Hoboken Vine.

I must have just missed it because I was just there yesterday, but I'm happy. Picked up two 4-packs of Elysian PP this weekend along with a 4-pack of BCBS. I'm super stoked.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I actually got mine at Decicco's Brewster, but probably could have easily gotten it from the Decicco's in Arsdsley.

They raised the limit to 3 around 3pm. They originally posted the 2 bottle limit early Friday morning

JC Delran had no limit.. the guy there said take as much as you want... so I grab'd a case. There was no case discount but they weren't super highly priced on their four packs at $21.99. So the case was $131.94.

Whomever was able to find it cheaper.. kudo's to you! $21.99/4pk was the cheapest I was able to find it around the Cherry Hill/Haddonfield/Westmont/Marlton/Maple Shade/Mt. Laurel etc area.

Was pretty shoked JC Delran didn't have a limit but i've seen other stuff they get that other stores sell out of really fast sit at JC Delran for weeks/months so i don't think they like to do the limit thing over there.. if people want it they sell it.. simple as that.

I like how they do business over there, same thing a couple of weeks ago when I picked up a case of FBS. No nonsense if you want to buy it and have the $ they'll sell it. I appreciate that!

^yeah.. i was out when FBS first hit otherwise i would have gone over there, but FBS should come around a few times before the FBS season is over so no problemo. What did they do a case of that for, I saw they had a 4pk still sitting on the counter for the going $10.99 so if they do no discount it would be $65.94 a case?

You were lucky to get a case around here, imo. Didn't seem to be any places that got mega cases like in North Jersey and New York. Though, it has been said, there is much more to come.

I was at Bourbon Street in Flemington today after the customary groceries next door around 10am. Guy inside said they were only allotted 1 case and it flew off the shelves. I still haven't gotten my dirty mitts on any. :(

Really should've been a separate thread for NJ BCBS hunting.

Why? A centralized thread for all releases makes way more sense, even if the dominant beer being sought is BCBS.

Don't worry, it'll go back to other beers in the next week or so, once everyone is all Bourbon Countied out...

From the looks of the GABF Map of breweries at the Festival, Flying Fish was the only NJ production brewery there, along with NJ brewpubs Iron Hill, J J Bittings and Harvest Moon.

If by we you meant "Hoboken Vine" I'm quoting the out the door price. $22.99 X 7% Sales Tax Puts it at $24.59. My apologies for miquoting you by $0.39..... I was actually justifying the statewide price of BCBS to someone who didn't seem to get it, but thanks for your value added clarification.
