Ok, can we just try and keep this one clean so that we can actually avoid a lock and deletion? Please only keep on topic of the subject matter. Pimping, complaint of moderation, dissidence, and off-topic comments WILL lead to the nuking of this thread, so unless we all want it to be some private conversation, where NOBODY outside can find any useful info, I suggest we keep it civil.

FWIW ... news and releases should be posted in their own threads.

Understood, moreso specific to NJ deliveries, sightings on shelves, and special events. Just trying to avoid a new thread every time a new beer shows up in Jersey. It usually works great, but some people like to sneeze on the cake, and ruin it for the rest of us.

How was Barcade last night to anyone who went?

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it, I hope they still have some kegs left of what I wanted to try...tonight.

The event was great last night! Way too many good beers to try though, but I had Barrel Aged Head High, Silent Nights, Bourbon Coffee cask, and Heirloom and all were on point.

Missed what happened. Any chance of a recap so similar offenses can be avoided by others who also missed the events that lead to the previous thread's demise?

Also, to keep this post on topic, Wegman's Cherry Hill has some Mikkeller Koppi Coffee IPA for $13. Also there's some A Little Sumpin Wild in stock too.

Thirdly, has anyone purchased a Great Brewers Variety Pack? Saw some at Cooks and there's no information on what's inside. All I've gathered from interwebs is that it could be anything. Anyone else have more info?

Just got an email from Shoreline Beverage out in Huntington NY that they are doing bourbon county growler fills. So it appears it has hit NY and hopefully NJ will be getting it very soon.

Yeah, I'd love to know what happened as well. These threads are always the most useful, I hate the idea of a ton of threads being posted like it used to be of "where can I find this?" and "has anyone seen this yet?" so much better. Disagree with that rule that each should be separate.

I have bought a few of the Great Brewers Variety packs, but once you buy one, the second one will end up being about the same. They're a good deal normally, but the last one I got was full of really mediocre gluten free beers. You'll get some really good beers too though, Ten Fidy, Troegs, DFH, Palo Santo, etc. I generally buy one if I'm going somewhere and need to bring something, or people are coming over. Normally something for everyone in there. I love the surprise though.

I thought the event was awesome. Barcade is amazing and got to love happy hour prices till 8. Kane is by far the best brewery in NJ and everything I tried last night was amazing, the different variations of Overhead were probably my favorites.

Wineworks in Marlton has the new Chimay beer but it's $24.99 so I had to pass. They also got in some new beers from To Ol including an imperial coffee stout and a barleywine.

The Bruery Oude Tart and Tart of Darkness on the shelves at Canals on rt. 38. Or at least they were as of 2 days ago. $23.99 a bottle though...ouch.

I just picked up the Chimay 150th, $24 something at Burlington Canals. Wasn't priced yet, so didn't know until the manager had to enter it in the system, and then ring me up. Ouch.

Regarding previous threads, just discuss it privately. I don't know why they were, just keep it off thread. Don't mention it, don't complain about it. Just keep it private.

I stopped in at Canals in Bellmawr and they had it at the register with no price. Figuring from previous posts I knew it was going to be in the $20's and didn't pull the trigger. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake. Anybody try one yet?

Scores are pretty high so far but there are only four reviews up to this point. The average is significantly lower on RB.

FBS should start hitting on Monday 9/24.. guess word on bourbon county for NJ is late Octoberish for bottles? Which is what I figured would happen with distributors getting it then needing to figure out how they are going to push it out and to where.

Who distributes Goose Island in Somerset/Hunterdon area? Just wondering where I should be looking for it .

High Grade Beverage is the AB house for those counties, and tho' it's not listed yet on their "Craft Beer" page, one would expect them to be regional Goose Island distributor. I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of retailers in that area dealing with High Grade.
