Some friends of mine heard Dan Carey mention at the R&D Sour Ale release that the next beer in the Thumbprint series will be a rebrew of Enigma. The Beer Schedule doesn't list Enigma, but it also doesn't extend past August.

    Can anybody corroborate this?

I hope it is that soon. When I went up in May, they said they were working on it. I have one bottle of the last version left. Would love to do a comparison soon.

I've been checking their beer schedule everyday for weeks to see their next thumbprint revealing, surprised they haven't added it yet, with Saturday being 9/1. It took them a week before July to reveal Saison on their schedule.

Did you do the self tour at NG when you were there? I saw a barrel sitting down but the jumbo tanks and heard rumor that was for Enigma. Could be completely false, but I like to believe.

One of my beer distributors said he'd have it available to us in a week or two. Take that for what you will

At the brewery on Sunday, one of the workers giving a tour said they were foiling the Enigma this week, and his guess was it would be heading out to stores next week.

He also said they're gonna start brewing Apple Ale soon... fer reel

Heard the same thing too. Enigma and Apple Ale are up next. Also they're temporarily not making Belgian red. Also no IIPA for next year so stock up while you can.

Enigma should start showing up In stores on Monday. Beechwood is picking their shipment up either tomorrow or Friday. The Apple Ale news is new to me. The last I heard they weren't sure if their would be enough apples this year because of the draught. This is good news. The Belgian Red is going to be temporarily out of commission because the Door County cherry harvest was poor this year and didn't yield enough crop.

I am not saying it isn't coming out, just they haven't even put it on the beer schedule yet. Think it would be added by th time it's releasd?

I agree, isn't this the third year in a row that they made the Apple Ale? How about brewing something new or an older Unplugged/Thumbprint favorite. Would rather see Cran-bic after Enigma.

i agree with changing up the apple ale, but i also see why they decided to do it. im sure it sells very well: popular with regular beer drinkers and with BAs.

apple is ale is about as old as gets within the unplugged series. Look forward to it every fall since they brought it back.

Enigma has hit the shelves in Wisconsin Dells. Also, better pickup some Belgian Red if you like it. Its already gone from the distro network.

Damn it. I was out there from San Francisco last Saturday. At least I got some Belgian Red before the hiatus. And the saison is good, so I really can't complain.

Last one as far as I could tell. Just had to share the excitement with those who might appreciate it, my wife doesn't (her enthusiasm was tempered by the slightly ridiculous price tag).
