Lately, I've often wondered about RedDiamond's whereabouts. He was an asset for us PNWers, as he had an ability to turn up at and review obscure regional breweries no matter how remote on a regular basis.
Late to the game: 1. MordorMongo. Not sure how I've missed him in all of this time. His whole crew is awesome. 2. SubpoenaDeuces. His drugs must be good. 3. GrumpyOldTroll. To weep while he slays whales. 4. BreakingBrohamid. To test my jaw strength. 5. Levitation. Her drugs must be good.
Apart from all the local pals or other BAs I met in real life (forgetfu, Brabander, andrejes, Jeffo, doopie, Mark, Ruds, etc. etc.), I'd have to go for: - Hanzo (loads of fun thread ideas + Kari Byron? Gets my vote!) - CrmAmWhatever (get tanked on some Tiny Rebel!) - Zimbo (my favourite Scottish wanker, Gerard Depardieu approved) - claaark13 (would love to meet up at De Dolle some day) - Marquis (when two beer history anoraks meet, everyone else feels awkward)

I think I saw him one day at Anacortes, but didn't realize at the time. They had a one-off Belgian and when I went to enter my review a couple days later, he had beat me to it. It was only a 1/4bbl, and last I checked there were only 2 reviews, him and me.

Anacortes is one thing (not that far from B-ham, or in the grand scheme of things, Seattle), but what amazed me about him was that he visited Northern Ales...when they were still located in Northport, WA! About the only way that trip isn't a pain in the ass is if you are coming from Canada!

Yeah, she really does know her stuff. I've read the blog a few times and always enjoyed it. Awesome sense of humor so it seems and intelligent. The only reason she wasn't on my list was because of the locals and conversations I've had with the people I did list. I've come to notice that the three of us always tend to agree or slightly clash. You (5thOhio) were literally the sixth person I was going to put on my list had the list been to six.
