$55 for Narke Kaggen! Stormaktsporter at Akkurat. Worth every penny. Though the same night I had Westvleteren 6 (as in not the blonde, but 6) and Narke Cognac Stormaktsporter, and they were just a little less.

Black Tuesday was $30 plus a toy for their toy drive; I forget how much that was. I think I paid ~$40 for Levud's.

Blabaer was no charity either. I think Cable Car Kriek at Toronado was $55?

I've had the opportunity to buy Utopias many times and no part of me has ever wanted to do so.

BCBS Rare. $50 was the value for it in a $4$ trade amoungst other goodies.

Would I buy it again? Yes. But only one more.

2008 was a fantastic vintage year for that beer wheather standard BCBS or Rare.

Think mine was $30 for Black Tuesday

Price per ounce on some of the Evil Twins is pushing it though, Auld Yin and others being 12oz for $13

50/50 Eclipse Elijah Craig 12 Year. I bought it Friday overjoyed because I thought I nailed a job interview, and was going to celebrate by having it. Well, I didn't get the job. So I'm saving it for a special occasion. Just drinking it willy nilly will take away the reason I bought it to begin with.

$22 Tart of Darkness at a shop. $25 Moat Water at a bar.

A $35 Drie Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek caught my eye the other day. I really wanted to have it, but I just couldn't spend that much on a beer. Maybe some day after I graduate college and am (hopefully) making some good money, I will buy stuff like that.

A place near me had that for like 45 bucks! I went there the other day, and noticed a sales tag on it. They keep rare beers behind the counter so the clerk brought it to me, and it dropped to 24.99. I grabbed it.

I have seen you mention the price tag on the 08 BCBS before and I am kinda disappointed in Toro's pricing - I paid $12 for one the day of the shit show at Alesmith when they released 2009 BA Speedway. Can't say I am surprised though, the price of 08 Abyss went from $40 to something like $80 overnight.

Anyways for me it was $75 for Veritas 004 at the 2011 FdA release. Worth every penny.

Paid $120 for a bottle of Tactical Nuclear Penguin while at San Diego Beer Week (and that purchase was NON alcohol induced I may add which makes me either impulsive or dumber than the average Joe...probably a little of both).
