Utopias a couple years ago. $190.
$80 for Fou Foune '11 at Tørst.
$30 for Voodoo Doughnut when it first came out.
Does buying three Maine Lunches, only drinking one, and neither of the people you picked the other two up for paid you back count? If so $28 for a little over 16 oz. of beer was pretty bad.
$9 each? Damn, mine were only like $6 and change.
Anyway, why wouldn't you want all 3 for yourself!???
With the shipping costs included double black cost me $86 for 750ml
Actually looking back I think $8 each, so $24 plus tax.
I've realized that I just share way too much. I bought two Daymans, giving one to a friend (this guy does the same for me) and split the other three ways with people that don't ever buy craft beer. Considering how broke I am I think I'm going to tone down the favors and be a bit more selfish? That sounds bad but you'd understand if you knew how much I give out and how little I get back.
$84.99 (about $90 with tax) for Trappist Westvleteren XII 4-pack
and I'd do it again
At a bar, $50 for a SNR10 and $40 for a Mamouche are my two most expensive bottles, I believe.
Most expensive bottle I've ever bought per oz and most expensive overall single bottle I've ever bought at a store (I think, although I find it hard to believe I haven't paid more) was a Golden Blend for ~$31 (so that's what, $2.50 an oz? ). Still worth it!
Imperial Biscotti Break $19 or so. Yeah, I'm cheap.
19 buckaroos for Deliverance. Totally worth it.
I just bought The Ale Apothecary - Latash for $30 for a 750ml bottle.
Single bottle of Westy 12. $50. Yes, I am a moron.
A bomber of Murda'd out Stout. Three Floyds. Bought at the brewery for $50. Still in my basement.
$15.00 for a 5oz pour of Kuhnhenn Raspberry Eisbock.
Sorta know what you mean. Shared $44 worth of beer with friend over the weekend. He bought be a beer the next day.
I set my personal record today. $22 for a bottle of Weyerbacher Riserva (2012). I felt bad about it until I started reading threads on here where people were talking about spending 1-2 hundred on bottles. I felt some buyer's remorse today but man, it was actually worth it. I loved that beer... so what's your record? Would you do it again?
As for a single bottle I would say 20$ for Rasputin xv. 100$ for a westy brick. For a haul 500-600. I'm going to Milton in a few days to Dfh with a 1000$ but I will be hitting other stores.
$15 for Uncle Jacob's and Art of Darkness as gifts. You don't have to break the bank unless you want bragging rights for having tried things...
$64 for two(2) westy 12 & glass (break up from the brick)
Also, $32 for a Golden Blend at a pub.
$25 for 2012 Allagash Interlude
$36 for some arbitrary Belgian bomber that I bought one night when I was lit at a local gastropub. I was so drunk that I can't remember what the beer was, but not drunk enough to forget the hurtin' it put on my wallet.
70$ for a 750 of Beatification
I'm just green with jealous rage. I would love to go to DFH...
I'm a ticker. When I see stuff I haven't had from my favorite breweries (like Weyer today) I just can't resist...
$37.99 for Cherry Rye at a restaurant, I'm not proud of that
This will be my first time there.
$12 plus tax for that Rogue Voodoo banana peanut butter etc. monstrosity. Anybody want to go in with me on a class action lawsuit?
Yes. Please. I spent $16 on one of those like a week ago. Thought "chocolate, peanut butter, and banana? Sounds perfect!". No. Tasted like a bottom-shelf smoked porter.
They have a solid defense--the name was warning enough. Whatever made you think that an Elvis sandwich would make a good beer?
I have one at home. I'm scared to open that sheeeeeet!!!!
Yeah, hope you're not expecting much... haha.
32 for Fruet and Bois off the internet. Per volume standpoint it is the Old Stock Cellar Reserve 2009 for 23 or so. All store sales there, never bought an inflated priced bottle from a bar ever.
If were talking volume, I spent about 250-300 on 2 cases of bombers(mostly FFF, plus Bruery sours and stuff) plus a mixed case of Zombie Dust, Gumballhead, Pride and Joy last time I was in Indiana for a weekend. Not even upset.
Most I ever spent was on parabola. Worth it? Yes. 15.99
$45 at a restaurant on the east coast for a Parabola (my first, and with a friend whom I hadn't seen in 5 years and may not see for many more) this past February. I don't regret it at all -- 100% worth it.
$10 tonight on 120 IPA.
Don't care if it sucks, I was glad to find it fresh under a month...
Never tried it, and I'll enjoy it with smiles as Fort Collins is full of beer geeks..
£17 for speedway. I'm pretty much prepared to pay any price for a beer if I have the money and I don't feel I'm being ripped off.
A thousand dollar beer run?!? Holy fuck. You are seriously committed my friend.
10.00 for a Pliny the Elder
Probably will not spend that much, but ya never know. Bunch of stuff out that way I cannot get at home. Gotta get it while I can.
24 dollar (18euro) on 50N4E.
Separate names with a comma.
