Well, SPRING TRAINING IS UNDER WAY; and Ryan Howard is already out LOL. And I am geeked up baby!!

So I thought I'd put this back up for a few reasons. I want to make sure those who are in, are still in; and to give an opportunity to everyone else to pick their team.

    In case you don't know the rules;
    1. pick your team,
    2. and if your team wins the World Series OR has the worst record in MLB you win a bottle of beer.
    3. The losers will send a bottle of beer to EACH, the person who picked the winner of the WS, and the person who picked the team with the worst record. (Tie breakers are in order: worst division record, worst conference record, and worst home record).
    4. Beer must be sent within three weeks at the end of the season for the team with the worst record, and
    5. beer must be shipped within three weeks at the end of the WS to the person who picked that team.
    6. Send me your name, address, cell, and email after you've been approved.

For those who already picked, please send me a BM or post on the thread so I know you still are in. (Just in case anyone bailed during/because of the changes on BA.)

Here are the teams, who picked them and the teams remaining:
    Orioles - pitasoup
    yankthese - DSlim71
    Boston - DrewShal9
    Rays - wscaffe
    Toronto -
    White Sox - TMoney2591
    Cleveland -
    Tigers - beerboy9960
    KC - suspect
    Twins - DarthKostrizer
    Angels - MrVonzipper
    Oakland -
    Seattle - mcb4538
    Texas -
    Atlanta -
    Marlins -
    Mets - fantasyroach
    Phils - gkatsoris
    Nationals -
    Cubs - robbiemoy13
    Reds - Astros - rtaps
    Brewers - wisconsinbeer1
    Pirates - cosm4u
    Cards - homebrew311
    Dbacks -
    Rockies - bigaltemple
    Dodgers - UCLABrewN84
    Padres - ehammond1
    Giants -

Some of the teams remaining have some real fraud fans to not pick them a all; (Atlanta, Texas, Giants, Nats, and Marlins). Just sayin lol.

How about this statement? The Dodgers will sweep the Angels for ALL of their games this year.

Never done a BIF before, but I can jump in on the Braves. It's not like I'm a Braves blogger or anything...

I'm giving the edge to the team that has no idea the real names and ages of it's players. Bold ass prediction: I'll collect more beers in this BIF than the Indians have wins..

If Rtaps is out I want Astros, I have much more faith in the Astros blowing the whole season than Dbacks being anything mor than mediocre.

Just a heads up on the BIF:

This new forum is friggen hard to follow hahah, so I'm guessing a few BAer's are still adjusting, so there are still a few remaining unconfirmed teams. Also, just a couple of team's not picked at all. I'll send out an actual group email, a group BM, and another post with: the teams and BA'ers, open teams, and the teams that still need to be confirmed.

I think I'm going give to March 17th to confirm since I think a few BAer's are still adjusting to (the) change. The teams that haven't been picked at all, and any of the unconfirmed teams will be available from March 18th til March 31st (NO SWITCHING TEAMS!!! hahaa). Then the BIF will be locked April 1st. And I have a feeling all of the teams will be picked; if not I have a few ideas to pick the winner(s) just in case, but we'll deal with that April 1st.

Thanks everyone. This thing is starting to gain some steam and I love the trash talk!!!

Just as long as the yankthese don't win!!!

    Go Phils!!!!

Hmm, ok, if the spot's still open I'll take Texas. Been to the WS 2 years in a row and as a Mariners fan I know they're good. Got a better chance than most to win it all. Let me know if I'm in.
